Newday by WorkWhile is an all-in-one solution that helps managers and workers handle the complexities of hourly and shift work. The platform’s key features, all in real time, will include:

  • AI-powered worker-to-shift matching: Newday will use WorkWhile’s proprietary AI to intelligently match the right worker to the right shift, ensuring optimal productivity and worker satisfaction.
  • Consolidated scheduling: The platform provides a unified “single pane of glass” view, giving businesses a comprehensive look at all of their labor, with never-before available analytics to optimize and manage workforce planning
  • Standardized attendance management: Companies can easily track attendance, punctuality, and no-shows, streamlining operations and ensuring accountability.
  • Worker pay and compliance tracking: Newday will simplify payroll by accurately tracking hours worked and providing a clear record for both the company and the employee.

ProEm, a national events services company, acted as a design partner for Newday and helped guide its product development and direction.

Newday features a user-friendly web interface for managers and a dedicated mobile app for workers, available on both Apple iOS and Android devices. The app allows workers to easily view their schedules, clock in and out, and manage their work life directly from their phones. Newday will be available in October 2025.

The Newday web interface allows HR professionals and field operations leaders to manage their internal workforce, while they will continue to use the WorkWhile interface to manage their flex workers. Newday will be able to manage both in the fall of 2025.
