GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Sept. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- After a remarkable 30-year tenure, Grand Rapids Michigan-based wealth management firm Centennial Securities announces the planned retirement of Randall L. Hansen, President and CEO, effective September 30, 2025.
Mr. Hansen joined Centennial as the CFO and COO in February 1995, taking the reins as President and CEO in 1999, and then as a shareholder beginning in 2000. Under his leadership, Centennial grew from a single-office firm in Grand Rapids to a five-branch advisory business serving clients across the Midwest. His tenure has been marked by steady growth, a client-first culture, and a strong commitment to community values.
Beyond his corporate leadership, Mr. Hansen has been deeply involved in civic life throughout West Michigan. He is a former chairman of the board for both the Grand Haven Community Foundation and the Better Business Bureau of Western Michigan, and he served on the executive board at Blandford Nature Center. His contributions have left an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire and influence the path of Centennial moving forward.
Mr. Hansen will remain connected to Centennial as an Executive Advisor and continue serving clients as a financial advisor.
Centennial remains in good hands moving forward. Jordan Powers joined the firm in 2016 as the Chief Compliance Officer and added the role of CFO in 2023. Moving into the role of President and CEO will be Andrew Klinger, current COO of Centennial Securities. Mr. Klinger, who joined the firm in 2023 from Moss Technologies, brings a background in executive leadership, technology, and communications.
"Randy's contributions to Centennial and the communities we serve are innumerable," said Klinger. "His leadership has shaped not only the company's direction but also its values and culture. We are grateful for the foundation he's built and as we look ahead, are committed to honoring that legacy by continuing to serve our clients and communities with purpose, curiosity, and optimism."
