East Coast climbers head to Brooklyn for a daylong championship showdown, community celebration, and open finals under the lights

Movement Climbing, Yoga & Fitness, a national community of indoor climbing gyms offering bouldering, rope climbing, yoga, fitness and youth programs, will bring the Nor’Easter Bouldering Series to a close on Saturday, June 20, 2026, with The Final Stop – a Superfinals event at Movement Gowanus that will gather top climbers from across New York, Pennsylvania, and beyond for one final showdown.
Launched in October 2025 in partnership with The North Face, the Nor’Easter Bouldering Series has grown into a region-wide competition spanning six events across New York and Pennsylvania, drawing more than 1,000 competitors from first-time climbers to elite Open athletes. Throughout the season, the series has awarded more than $16,000 in cash prizes and over $20,000 in prizes from The North Face. The June 20 Superfinals will welcome back the series’ top 60 competitors across all divisions – from Recreational through Open – to compete for podium spots and a share of the series cash purse.

Movement Gowanus will host the Nor’Easter Bouldering Series Superfinals, a full-day event from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, bringing together top climbers from Recreational through Open divisions for a day of competition. While the competition takes place, Movement Gowanus will remain open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM for members and day-pass guests. Non-members are welcome to purchase a day pass to climb, watch the action, and enjoy vendor activations, DJs, raffles, and mini challenges throughout the day.
At 6:00 PM, regular climbing access will pause and the gym will transition into Finals mode, with free spectating available for all attendees.
At 7:00 PM, the event culminates with the Open Finals, where the region’s top athletes will compete head-to-head in a championship-style showdown to determine the Nor’Easter Bouldering Series Superfinals champions.
