The transition will take place over the next couple of months and is a significant step in enhancing Mill Steel's service capabilities.

With direct access to the port, Mill Steel will be able to receive up to 60,000 lb. coils straight from the water, reducing transit times and improving efficiency. This strategic advantage will allow the company to provide faster lead times on orders, ensuring customers receive their material quickly. Additionally, the expanded 100,000 square-foot space will support increased productivity and offer greater capacity for future growth.

To further enhance its processing capabilities at the new location, Mill Steel is investing in state-of-the-art equipment, including a new high-speed slitter with precision leveling capabilities that handles 72" wide coils in gauges .015–.250". This advanced line will enable flatter material and faster throughput providing superior value to customers.
