IFFA's free recruiting platform gives players and coaches the tools to grow with the game—no paywall, no barriers.
TAMPA, Fla., Aug. 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Flag Football Association (IFFA), a new initiative from the Tampa-based nonprofit, Fox Foundation, officially launches with a free interactive platform designed to fuel the sport's growth. As flag football gains momentum ahead of its 2028 Olympic debut and major collegiate expansion, IFFA connects athletes and coaches, streamlines recruitment, and strengthens the game's foundation – all at no cost.
Led by Dr. Deliah Autry, a member of the U.S. Women's National Flag Football team and pediatric physical therapist, the IFFA aims to build the infrastructure needed to keep this popular, low-cost sport accessible to all, preventing the "pay-to-play" prevalent in sports like softball, baseball, and soccer.
At the center of the launch is a free, user-friendly recruiting platform for high school players and college coaches. Designed to minimize the struggles of getting recruited, the platform is open to players aged 14 and above, allowing them to build searchable athletic profiles that include general information, academic and athletic statistics, and video footage. Coaches can also create accounts and, after undergoing a verification process, gain access to players' recruiting profiles, streamlining talent discovery and eliminating traditional barriers to visibility.
"I'm just a girl who fell in love with this sport, and I want every girl to have the same opportunities I've had," says Dr. Deliah Autry, director of the IFFA. "We launched the IFFA to build something bigger – for players and coaches. This platform makes it easier for coaches to find and track players, while also ensuring no athlete is excluded because of background, geography, or resources."
IFFA Key Initiatives
