This most recent Pollie Award was given for best phone campaign-honoring House Democrats' outstanding quality, creativity, and political effectiveness. The phone campaigns are only a small portion of a full-scale political operation, led by Speaker Welch, that supports Democratic members of the Illinois House as well as Democrats across the state.
