Construction Led by Spry Global, in Partnership with Lowe's Home Improvement

ATLANTA, July 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- In a powerful demonstration of commitment to combat homelessness, Lowe's Home Improvement and Spry Global have contributed $750,000 in materials and labor toward a $1.2 million expansion of Frontline Response's facility at 2585 Gresham Road in DeKalb County. The expansion will significantly enhance the organization's ability to serve unhoused individuals and families with dignity, care, and accessibility. Spry Global, a full-service construction firm, is leading the renovation efforts as the project's builder.

This generous contribution paves the way for essential upgrades ahead of Atlanta's upcoming warming center season, enabling Frontline Response to prioritize emergency, holistic care and long-term solutions for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Expansion Features Include:

  • All-Gender Private Restrooms and Expanded Modern Showers – designed to ensure safety, privacy, and dignity for all guests
  • On-Site Medical and Mental Health Exam Rooms – providing critical space to address two of the most significant barriers to overcoming homelessness: untreated physical and mental health conditions
  • A Walk-Up Community Café – offering nourishing meals and refreshments to anyone in need throughout the day
  • Expanded Sleeping Capacity – increasing overnight accommodations from 260 to nearly 400 individuals and families
  • Dedicated Space for Service Pets – allowing guests to remain with their support animals, reducing separation trauma and increasing stability
