Washington, D.C. - April 2025 - Exodus Officiating proudly announces its official launch, offering a new 6-week basketball referee training academy, led by NCAA Division I official Eddie Fontno. The program is designed to prepare individuals for paid officiating work at youth, high school, and collegiate levels.

Fontno’s credentials include officiating:

- NCAA Division I, DII (2025 Sweet16), and DIII (2022 Elite8, 2023 Sweet16, 2024 2nd Rd)

- CIAA Championship Game (2022,2023,2025)

- The 2024 HBCU/NBA Classic Game (NBA All-Star Weekend)

- DCSAA (2020,2023,2025) & WCAC (2025) High School Championships

In addition to his decorated career on the court, Fontno is also an accomplished visual artist. His portrait of Justice Thurgood Marshall was displayed in the office of Vice President Kamala Harris. He has also been commissioned to create portraits for esteemed institutions such as the Congressional Black Caucus and Jack and Jill of America, Inc.

This fusion of discipline and creativity defines Fontno’s approach to training — merging the precision of officiating with the vision of a true artist.

Participants will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and guidance on certification. No prior experience is required.

Classes start May 21, 2025. Registration now open at www.ExodusOfficiating.com
