WASHINGTON, Aug. 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Emergency physicians, researchers, and health care leaders will meet for ACEP25, the world's largest emergency medicine conference, presented by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) from September 7-10 in Salt Lake City.

Members of the media can register and attend the conference for free.

The opening session on September 7 promises to be an energizing, can't-miss start to ACEP25. Olympic gold medalist and cancer survivor Scott Hamilton will speak about celebrating the strength, resilience and compassion that defines emergency medicine. Noah Wyle, executive producer, writer, director and star of The Pitt, will join Joe Sachs, MD, FACEP, writer and executive producer, and Mel Herbert, MD, FACEP, writer and medical advisor, for a behind-the-scenes look at the hit television show that so accurately brings the challenges of emergency care to life.

Media onsite can attend public presentations and audit an extensive roster of courses taught by emergency physician experts on the biggest topics in emergency medicine today, including artificial intelligence, boarding and crowding, opioids and pain management, disaster medicine, pediatric and geriatric care, infectious disease, and more. Course times and availability are subject to change.

Attendees can expect customizable educational tracks, hands-on skills labs for practical training, lively social events and career-shaping opportunities to network with peers, all while recharging and connecting with the dynamic emergency medicine community.

Registered media gain free access to the Research Forum, the annual showcase and first look at the data fueling practice innovation and driving emergency medicine forward. This year, the Research Forum features more than 620 abstracts and presentations from leading experts across the globe. Abstracts will be published in a special supplement to Annals of Emergency Medicine and can be requested by contacting PR@acep.org.
