DeKalb County School District Selects Stratix for One of Georgia's Largest Student Device Deployments

PR Newswire

PEACHTREE CORNERS, Ga., Sept. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Stratix Corporation, a leader in managed mobility services (MMS), announced a new agreement with DeKalb County School District (DCSD), Georgia's third-largest school system, to manage and support the deployment of more than 110,000 Chromebooks and laptops across the district.

With over 92,000 students, 6,600 teachers, and 14,000 total employees across 138 schools and centers, DCSD is undertaking one of the most significant technology deployments in the state. Stratix will provide comprehensive managed mobility services including project management, lifecycle management (LCM), device repair, pickup and delivery, and mobile asset management through its itrac360 platform.

This agreement builds on Stratix's ongoing work with school districts across metro Atlanta. For example, in Gwinnett County Public Schools — the largest school district in Georgia — Stratix reduced repair turnaround times from weeks to just three days. Stratix also helped cut millions in costs, making Gwinnett's 1:1 program more affordable and effective. Building on that success, Stratix's collaboration with DCSD began in late 2023 with the rollout of tablets and free Internet through the federal Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). That initiative established a strong foundation for continued innovation, as well as resources to help districts navigate classroom technology.

Stratix supports education as a cornerstone of strong communities, including local schools that serve employee families. This year, that commitment has taken shape through career and interview workshops, AI training sessions, laptop giveaways, school supply drives, and sponsorship of the district's back-to-school rally. In addition, Stratix is partnering with the DCSD Foundation on its expansion efforts — all as part of a shared commitment to strengthening education and opportunities across the community.

"We're proud to strengthen our work with DeKalb and continue partnering with districts across metro Atlanta to invest in students' success. For families, a reliable device means uninterrupted access to learning and growth. Our focus is on ensuring schools have the dependable services they need so students and teachers can thrive," said Erik Anderson, Vice President of Enterprise Accounts at Stratix.
