Hometown Filmmaker Comes Back: Tex Kelly Expands to Prescott Valley and Northern Arizona

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. — Tex Kelly Productions, an award-winning film and photography studio built on California's North Coast, is expanding home to the town where its founder grew up. Tex Kelly, a Prescott Valley native, is bringing his studio's wedding films, photography, senior portraits, and FAA Part 107 drone work to Prescott Valley, Prescott, Sedona, Flagstaff, and the Phoenix metro.
Kelly built the studio in Eureka, California, where it earned more than 100 five-star Google reviews and was voted Humboldt County's Best. His work behind the camera has earned a YouTube Silver Creator Award for passing 100,000 subscribers, and his content brands have drawn more than one billion cumulative views.
"Prescott Valley is home. Glassford Hill was the view out my window growing up," Kelly said. "My wife Molly and I built this studio in California, and bringing it back to the towns I grew up in means more to me than any award we have picked up along the way."
The studio works as a two-person team. Couples and businesses get photography and cinematic film delivered together from one crew, a model that grew out of the studio's wedding work and now covers commercial brand films, real estate media, senior portraits, and marketing consulting for local businesses.
The Arizona expansion makes the studio one of the few in the region offering licensed drone cinematography as a standard part of coverage. Kelly is an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot, and the studio carries liability insurance and coordinates airspace authorization for every flight, from Sedona's red rocks, where wilderness boundaries restrict where a drone can legally fly, to the controlled airspace over the Phoenix metro.
As a wedding videographer and photographer serving Prescott Valley and Prescott, the studio covers everything from Courthouse Plaza ceremonies and Watson Lake portraits to Sedona elopements at Cathedral Rock. Senior portrait sessions, brand films for local businesses, and drone photography round out the Northern Arizona services.
